CS2 Map Veto (cs2-veto.com) is a free tool for running Counter-Strike 2 map vetoes and lobbies. This page explains what data we handle when you choose to sign in with Steam or play on a Managed Server.

What we collect

You can use most of the site without signing in. If you choose “Sign in through Steam,” we receive and use only:

We never see or receive your Steam password. Authentication is handled entirely by Steam.

How we use it

How it is stored

We keep data to a minimum. Your identity is stored in a signed session cookie in your own browser. Lobby information is held temporarily in server memory and is deleted when the lobby closes or the server restarts.

If you play a match on a Managed Server, your public SteamID64, public Steam persona name, public Steam avatar, and match statistics may be stored in the match stats database. This is used to show match history, career stats, scoreboards, and player results. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Third parties

Sign-in and profile data are provided by Valve / Steam via the Steam Web API, subject to Valve’s own terms and privacy policy. Avatar images are loaded directly from Steam’s servers.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Contact & your data

To remove the data stored in your browser session, simply sign out. Your session cookie is cleared.

To request removal of your identity from stored Managed Server match stats, contact privacy@cs2-veto.com with your SteamID64 and the Match ID. After removal, the match will no longer appear in your personal match history, and other users will see REMOVED instead of your name for that match entry.

For other privacy questions, contact privacy@cs2-veto.com. To report abuse or misuse of the service, contact abuse@cs2-veto.com.
